Get Live Gizmo on Android

There’s an Android app, and I’d love you to try it. It’s still being tested, so you have to opt in — three steps, about two minutes.

  1. Join the testers group

Google keeps a list of who’s testing, and this group is the list. Press Join group. Anyone can, and there’s no waiting.

Use the same Google account your phone uses for the Play Store. If you use a different one, the next two steps won’t work.

  2. Tell Google Play you're in

Open the page and press Become a tester. If it says you can’t, you joined the group with a different Google account.

  3. Install the app

Google Play will now let you download it. If it says the app isn’t available, wait a few minutes and open the link again — Google is still catching up.

One favour

Google only lets an app out of testing if twelve people stay signed up for fourteen days in a row. So: please keep it for a couple of weeks. Leaving early puts the count back to the start.

If something goes wrong

It’s a test version, so it might. Email info@livegizmo.com and say which phone you have.

Leaving

Open the same page from step 2 and press Leave the program, then uninstall the app. Your account and your games stay exactly as they are.

What about my data?

Nothing extra is collected for this. Joining the group is between you and Google — I never see who joined. The app stores the same things the website does, which is written out in the privacy policy.

Not on Android? Everything works in the browser.
